When it’s winter, the sky stays grey, clouds get heavy, and they overtake the sun
It gets to the point where the clouds are way too heavy, they cannot carry themselves anymore, so they burst and shower everything, everyone, with rain.
They keep raining for a couple of days until people start to long for the sun
They find winter too depressing and pray for the sun to come out and shine over so brightly
-Read what's below when he starts singing
The sun peaks through the cloud like a sticker
It’s filled with fire and energy- you can call it rage
When the sun feels too much, it gives out the light it prays everyone admires, especially the moon
She sends it over earth ever so gently, until she realizes that she might be giving too much
That’s when the plants start to wither
people start to sweat
Their skins turn dark
Their hearts beat fast
And the moon turns his head away when in contact, trying too hard to break this contact she found so special.
Everyone longs for the clouds once again
People shield their bodies with the umbrellas they used for raindrops
And the sun shields itself from shame with the clouds
It hides and cries in silence
She never expects anything from anyone, she learned it the hard way
She doesn’t because she hates being on standby
It’s closure she longs for, it’s all she has ever wanted
She understands that not everything should be all rainbows and sunshine
Wait...
She is the sunshine
But she prays that the clouds that hide her away, soon vanish and give her a trail to glow through
She’s the sunshine that shines just for those who sit and wait for her, at the beach with no sunblock
She’s the sunshine that melts plastic cups of poison that sit outside for too long
She’s the sunshine that burns scars and paints melanin
She will rust out your brain and burn your toes if you’re not at all careful
